About Us

Rob Moore grew up in Arizona and has been in the flooring and builder design center business for over 33 years. He started his career in 1991 working as a manufacturing representative for Tuftex Carpet Mills and Shaw Industries. In 2001 he joined Interior Specialist (ISI) where he started in sales and eventually became the division and regional president from 2013-2018. In 2018, ISI was merged with a large local competitor where Rob remained President until his departure in early 2022.

During his career, Rob gained a vast knowledge of the integral workings of the design center, flooring, cabinet, countertop, and window covering businesses and was able to find the synergies among each one of these product groups that can assist our homebuilder customer become more efficient and profitable.

Dennis Crowley is a native of Arizona and began his career in the flooring business in 1969, first learning how to install carpet and eventually selling all types of flooring and managing local flooring companies. In 1979 Dennis opened his own company called Heritage Interiors. His vision for Heritage was not to be the biggest but to be the BEST. To Dennis the BEST meant three things. Be the best partner to his home building customers through open communications, first quality installations and service and honest business practices. Treat employees with respect and give them a great work environment and an opportunity to grow. Make our installation companies and vendors feel like partners so when we succeed, they succeed. These are the principles Heritage operated under for 40 years and they are the same principles EPIX Interiors will operate under today.

Dennes Mikalacki started in the flooring business in 1992 as a tile installer. Over a short period, he established Proset Tile Installations, employing over 60 tile installers on a daily basis. In 1995, he also founded Red Rock Custom Homes, becoming a custom homebuilder with the opportunity to build over 50 multimillion-dollar homes to date. His understanding of the evolution of the design and building process, along with today’s flooring innovations, has created the perfect opportunity for Dennes to offer his expertise to EPIX Interiors and our homebuilder customers.

Andy Seaman has been in the flooring and builder design business for over 28 years. After receiving an honorable discharge from the United States Navy, he began working with Floor Covering Interiors in Tucson as an Installation Scheduling Coordinator. In 1997, Andy became the General Manager of Villeroy and Boch, a ceramic tile supplier in Tucson, Arizona. In June 1999, he joined Floorworks as General Manager, a company that was purchased by Home Depot in 2004, at which point it was renamed Creative Touch Interiors. In November 2007, Andy departed from CTI and, in 2008, helped establish a new company in Tucson, where he opened the local branch as General Manager.

Throughout Andy's career, he has learned every facet of the flooring business, including labor, design center operations, flooring, cabinets, and countertop sales. His reputation has been built on his commitment to customer service and helping his builders grow in the Arizona market.

Pat Crowley has a 35-year history of development and achievement in the flooring industry. While building his career in multiple markets on the West Coast as a Regional Manager with Shaw Industries, Pat developed a keen awareness of single-family homebuilding and homebuyer flooring selections. In 2005, this interest came to the forefront as Pat pioneered partnerships with builder-branded design centers. As his retail expertise and systems management skills grew, so did national opportunities for design center alignment. Pat is a creative thinker who strives for excellence at every opportunity. He never accepts the status quo and takes pride in being a reliable resource for his customers and teammates.

Dee Ray has been in the builder construction industry since moving to Arizona in 1997. Her experience started while working with a concrete supplier, then joining the flooring, cabinet, countertop, and window covering industry with Heritage Interiors in 2002. Since 2002, she has grown within the flooring/design industry through mergers and acquisitions of the two largest builder design center companies in Arizona. During her 27 years in the industry, she has been involved in all aspects of the business from finance, operations, production, and customer service.

This has expanded her experience and knowledge by being involved in the industry and provides EPIX Interiors the internal concrete foundation needed to establish and build the teams needed to provide world-class service to our homebuilder customers.

Robin Smith has been in the builder design business for over 35 years, he began his floor covering career working for the Lasalle Deitch Company, a Wholesale floor covering distributor in Tempe Arizona. In 1984 he began working as an Account Manager for TDC Interiors were he began building the long term relationships with Arizona Home Builders, he then moved on to work for Interior Specialist in a Estimating capacity , when the company merged with The Interior Logic Group, He moved back into his account management role and began once again working with major Arizona Home Builders.

Robin Smith is a seasoned professional in the construction and client relations industries, bringing over 3 decades of experience to his roles as a Senior Account Manager and Senior Builder Estimator. With a keen eye for detail and an exceptional ability to communicate, Robin has built a reputation as a customer relations expert, adept at forging strong connections with clients and stakeholders alike.

Through his blend of expertise, dedication, and passion for customer relations, he continues to drive success for his clients and his organization. As he moves forward in his career, Robin remains committed to delivering exceptional results while nurturing the vital relationships that lie at the heart of his work.

Elizabeth Nguyen grew up in Arizona and has been in the construction industry for 14 years. After graduating from NAU with a Construction Management degree, Elizabeth joined the industry as a cabinet estimator for a commercial workshop in Apache Junction. From there, she joined Heritage Interiors ISI where she grew her project management skills by overseeing design center remodels and developing excel-based databases. Looking to expand her knowledge of homebuilding, Elizabeth moved into a marketing role with Woodside Homes and managed collateral, model home design, and divisional campaigns ranging from digital media to onsite events.

Pulling from her experience as both builder and subcontractor, Elizabeth now provides bidding services to homebuilders, believing that paying attention to detail up front creates a world-class experience for everyone.

Melissa Maasland began her career in the Interior Design Industry in 1997 as a Receptionist for a Tucson, Arizona flooring company. Eager to grow, she quickly expanded her skills by taking on roles such as Order Processor and Customer Service Representative. In 2000, she joined FloorWorks, which was acquired by Home Depot in 2004 and rebranded as Creative Touch Interiors. Her commitment and expertise earned her a promotion to Branch Operations Manager, a role typically requiring a college degree. Inspired by this accomplishment, she pursued her degree in Interior Design through full-time night classes.

Melissa’s professional background includes managing Primera Design Studios and design teams across multiple states. Cultivating strong partnerships with homebuilders. Prior to joining Epix Interiors, she worked as an Account Executive for BuildOn Technologies, managing homebuilder accounts while using VEO Design Studio, a software platform designed to streamline design center selections. Her operational expertise and creative vision drive her passion for delivering a world-class Design Center Experience.
